The Dunkeld Community Archives include a fast-growing collection of photographs, records and memorabilia relating to the Cathedral and Community of Dunkeld and Birnam, as well as home to the Regimental records of The Scottish Horse which contains extensive records and artefacts from the Boer War, WWI and WWII.
The private group tour arranged for Fellows will be led by an expert guide from Dunkeld Archives, and Fellowship & Development Manager, Andrea Kaszweski, will be there to meet and greet Fellows and help out on the tour.
As well as seeing a few gems from Dunkeld’s Archives the tour will also include a visit to the Chapter House Museum (built in 1457) located in Dunkeld Cathedral. In this small museum is a permanent exhibition telling the history of the town and redevelopment of the reformed church.
The tour is free but monetary donations are very much welcome and appreciated by Dunkeld Community Archives.
Places for this small group tour are strictly limited to 15 people. Please book before midnight on Sunday 30 March.
